SEA TURTLES PROTECTION
Sea Turtle protection is a very big ecological pursuit in the islands as baby turtles have a very high mortality rate. They are protected in a number of programs until they are old enough to be released back into the sea.

In coordination with the Ministry of Environment, a team is dedicated to taking care of wounded turtles. An adapted programme allows ensuring the ability to release all the gathered turtles into the ocean. This center set in a lagoon, offers the possibility of assisting with the turtle's meals in the morning as well as being informed of their way of life and even swimming among them respectfully in their environment and ecosystem (unique in Polynesia). | ||
